Krum opened District 5-4A play Friday with a 42-17 win at Caddo Mills. The Bobcats led 21-17 at halftime and scored late in the second quarter to take control. Mateo Gonzalez rushed for two touchdowns. QB Elijah Guerrero added two rushing TDs and one passing score. The defense forced two turnovers. Krum is 4-0 and hosts Van Alystine Friday at 7 p.m. The Panthers are 1-2.
Lady Bobcats volleyball wraps the first half of District 7-4A Tuesday against Burkburnett. Krum is 17-13 overall and 3-3 in league play. Cross country runs Friday at Brewer.
