KRUM, Texas — A heavy cold front proved to be the winner Friday night, canceling Krum’s scheduled matchup with Fort Worth Western Hills.
The game will not be replayed, leaving the Bobcats with a nine-game schedule for the 2025 season. Krum, 1-0 after a season-opening rout of Wills Point, will return to action Friday at home against Lake Worth. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Bullfrogs enter 0-2 and have scored just seven points combined in their first two games.
In volleyball, the Lady Bobcats open District 7-4A play Tuesday on the road against Eagle Mountain. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. They will return home Friday to face Springtown at 4:30 p.m. Krum has built momentum with a recent six-match winning streak and takes a 14-10 record into the week.
On the cross country course, Krum’s boys finished second and the girls placed third at the Mineral Wells meet last Friday.
