In its 14th season of varsity football, Krum put together a memorable campaign in 2025. For starters, it won the District 5-4A championship. It also recorded just the second double-digit win season in program history, the first coming in 2016. This year’s 10-1 finish is the best record the school has posted. The 2016 team went 10-2. This season also marked the program’s eighth playoff appearance.
Expectations should be just as high in 2026. Quarterback Elijah Guerrero returns as a senior after throwing for 2,017 yards and 25 touchdowns, along with 11 rushing scores. A pair of young receivers will also be back, including AJ Criss, who led the team with eight touchdown catches.
The biggest question is who will replace running back Will Holland, who finished with 2,123 yards and 17 touchdowns. One name to watch is sophomore Carter Hollingshead.
It should be an interesting offseason.
