As the 2025-26 athletics season comes to a close, Krum has plenty of accomplishments to reflect on across multiple sports.

Despite being a relatively young program that began in 2012, Krum football continued its rise with another strong season. The Bobcats captured the District 5-4A championship and completed an undefeated regular season at 9-0. Krum also reached double-digit wins for just the second time in school history, finishing 10-1. Expectations will again be high this fall with rising senior quarterback Elijah Guerrero leading the offense.

Krum boys basketball also enjoyed a successful season, winning the District 7-4A championship while spending much of the 2025-26 campaign ranked in the state top 10. The Bobcats’ postseason run ended in the area round.

The Lady Bobcats basketball team also reached the playoffs, continuing another solid year for the program.

In track and field, Marlie Morris and Kara Heckler represented Krum at the UIL Class 4A state meet earlier this month. Morris earned two bronze medals in the triple jump and long jump, while Heckler also competed in both events.

Now, Krum turns its attention toward a new district alignment following February’s UIL realignment announcement.
