The Krum High School baseball, softball, and track teams return to action as District 10-4A play heats up.

Bobcats baseball enters the week 8-8-1 overall and 2-3 in district play after splitting a series with Prosper Richland last week, winning 7-4 and losing 6-1. Krum sits one game out of a playoff spot but still has plenty of opportunities to improve during the remainder of the regular season. The Bobcats will play a home-and-home series against winless Carrollton Ranchview this week and competed in a non-district game at Sanger Saturday.

The Lady Bobcats softball team is 13-5-2 overall and 1-1 in District 10-4A play. Last week, Krum won a high-scoring matchup at Frisco Panther Creek, 17-14, but fell 14-1 to Aubrey. This week, the Lady Bobcats travel to Richland Wednesday before hosting Lake Dallas Friday.

Krum boys and girls track teams resume competition Thursday at the Jacksboro meet after spring break. At the March 5 Sanger meet, junior Sean Welcome showed promise in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing second and starting to round into form for the remainder of the season.
