Malakoff rebounded Friday with a 31-21 win over Grandview. The Tigers improved to 2-2. After dropping their previous two games, Malakoff responded with a much-needed victory.
District 7-3A play begins in two weeks. The Tigers have a bye this week before opening district play against Commerce. The break comes at a good time to evaluate the team both offensively and defensively.
Lady Tiger volleyball is 23-7 and 3-1 in District 15-3A after splitting matches last week. The team lost to Eustace, swept Winona and will have a bye Tuesday before hosting Edgewood on Friday.
