Malakoff is 2-2 and ranked No. 10 in the Class 3A Division I poll. District 7-3A opens Friday at Commerce, which is 3-1 after a 51-13 win over Winnsboro. Last game before the bye, Malakoff beat Grandview 31-21.
Lady Tiger volleyball is 24-7 overall and 4-1 in District 15-3A. They won a five-set match against Edgewood Friday, 15-11. Upcoming matches: home vs. Quitman Tuesday and at Mineola Friday.
