Eagle baseball continues its District 20-2A season Friday at home against Avalon. Mildred entered the week 13-3 overall and 3-1 in district play. The Eagles dominated a non-district matchup Monday, topping Trinidad 15-0. Last week, Mildred split its district series with Cayuga, dropping the opener 7-2 before bouncing back with a 12-5 win in the return game.
Mildred softball is flying high in District 20-2A. The Lady Eagles opened the week at 9-9-3 overall and 6-0 in league play, scoring in double figures in each district win, including a sweep of Cayuga last week, 15-5 and 16-4. This week, Mildred hosted Trinidad on Tuesday and Avalon on Friday.
Mildred track teams return to action Thursday, competing in Italy in the final regular-season meet before the district championships.
