It’s an active week for Rams basketball, and all the action will be on the road. With football season in the books, Mineral Wells can field a full basketball roster.
The Rams came off the Thanksgiving break Saturday, traveling to nearby Graford. Mineral Wells entered the game at 2-2 after a 56-50 home loss to Lindale last week. After Graford, the Rams play at Castleberry of Rivers Oaks on Tuesday, then head to the Granbury Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
The girls team also played a Saturday doubleheader at Graford. The Lady Rams had gained momentum with a pair of wins last week, including a 43-27 victory at Iowa Park. They host Bowie on Tuesday, then compete in the Joshua Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
And don’t forget December marks the start of preseason preparations for both soccer teams ahead of the January season.
