The Mineral Wells Rams boys soccer team is off to a strong start this season. Mineral Wells is 10-2-1 overall and 2-1 in District 4-4A.

The Rams won on the road Friday at Graham High School, 3-0, and earlier in the week defeated Burkburnett High School, 2-1. Mineral Wells has now won three straight matches. This week, the Rams travel to Bridgeport High School on Tuesday and to district leader Decatur High School on Friday.

The Lady Rams are 5-8-1 overall and 0-3 in district play. They lost Friday at Graham, 4-0, and earlier in the week fell 1-0 to Burkburnett. They follow the same schedule as the boys with road games at Bridgeport Tuesday and Decatur Friday.

Basketball seasons are winding down for Mineral Wells. The Rams finish Tuesday at Brock High School with a 12-20 record and 0-9 in District 6-4A play. The Lady Rams wrapped up last Tuesday, losing to Graham, 45-34, finishing 15-19 overall and 1-9 in 6-4A.

Finally, on National Signing Day, Feb. 4, Rams quarterback Brogan Sims signed with Division II Upper Iowa University.
