PARADISE, Texas — The state’s No. 2-ranked Class 3A Division I program is off to an explosive start.
Paradise has scored 128 points in its first two games, including a 47-20 win over Godley last week. The Panthers, now 2-0, put the game away with two fourth-quarter touchdowns. Quarterback Ayden Olalde is also off to a strong start, already accounting for 10 touchdowns this season.
Next up is homecoming Friday night against Eagle Mountain. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The Knights, in their second year of varsity play, are 1-1 after falling 34-25 to Grandview last week.
In volleyball, the Lady Panthers began District 10-3A play Tuesday with a match against Callisburg. Paradise finished non-district at 18-8 and will be off Friday due to homecoming.
The Panthers’ cross country teams will compete Thursday at the Haltom meet.
