Paradise High School football will stay in Class 3A Division I for the next UIL realignment cycle, according to cutoff numbers released last week.
The school reported a student enrollment of 383 earlier this year, just 16 above the minimum of 367 for this classification. The upper limit for Class 3A Division I is 549 students. The classification applies only to football, with other sports competing in separate districts.
Paradise football is concluding its run in District 4-3A, which includes Peaster, Boyd, Bowie, Vernon, Iowa Park and Ponder, within Region I. Other Paradise sports will complete their affiliation in District 10-3A in Region II through the spring season.
The UIL will announce new district alignments for all Paradise athletics on Feb. 2, providing time for preparation ahead of the 2026-27 school year.
