As many local fans have likely heard by now, NTX Varsity Sports has partnered with the Paradise Panthers to stream Panthers boys and girls basketball games through the postseason.
The partnership began last week with Paradise girls basketball coverage and expanded this week to include the boys team. NTX Varsity Sports streamed a doubleheader Tuesday at Boyd featuring both squads. Coverage continues Friday with the boys only, as the second-ranked Panthers travel to Whitesboro for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
The streaming agreement will last through each team’s playoff run. Fans can log on to NTXVarsitySports.com approximately 15 minutes before tipoff for the pregame show, followed by live play-by-play and a postgame show.
On the court, the sixth-ranked Paradise Lady Panthers wrapped up their regular season Tuesday as the District 10-3A champions. The Lady Panthers finished the regular season 28-4 overall and a perfect 11-0 in district play.
Paradise opens the Class 3A Division II playoffs at 6 p.m. Monday at Keller Fossil Ridge High School. Their opponent will be either Trinity Leadership Tigers or Fort Worth Young Women’s Leadership Academy.
Meanwhile, the Panthers boys team entered the week 28-2 overall and 9-0 in district action, continuing a dominant season as postseason play approaches.
