PARADISE, Texas — The 2025 football season begins Friday for the Panthers with the debut of head coach Tommy Koch.

Paradise enters the fall with momentum after a historic run to the Class 3A Division I state semifinals in 2024. The Panthers are ranked No. 3 in the first state poll and wrapped up fall camp last week with their second scrimmage. Quarterback Ayden Olalde returns after a standout season and will again lead the offense.

The opener is set for 7 p.m. Friday at home against Gainesville. Paradise defeated the Leopards 38-7 in last year’s meeting.

In volleyball, the Lady Panthers are 12-7 through two weeks. They went 6-2 in the Graham tournament last week, finishing second in the gold bracket, with Autumn Proctor, Jayci Barnes and McKinley McQueen earning all-tournament honors. Paradise will compete in the Godley tournament Friday and Saturday.
