Lady Panther softball is making a strong push for the District 10-3A championship this week. Tuesday’s matchup was against district leader Boyd in Boyd, closing the first half of district play. The second half begins Friday at home versus Callisburg. Paradise entered the week 19-3-1 overall and 4-1 in league play, tied for second with Whitesboro and just one game behind Boyd.
Panther baseball is also in a pivotal week of District 10-3A play. The annual Battle of Hwy. 114 rivalry with Boyd began Tuesday in Boyd and concludes Friday in Paradise. Paradise came into the week 13-3 overall and 2-0 in district play, while Boyd remains undefeated at 19-0.
Paradise track teams will compete in their final regular-season meet Thursday at Ponder. The District 10-3A track meet is scheduled for two weeks from now.
