PARADISE – The Paradise Panthers boys basketball team will compete against the Whitesboro Bearcats at home tomorrow Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026 in a district game.
No.1 ranked Paradise Panthers boys basketball comes in at 23-2 overall, and 4-0 in district play. Last week, the Panthers beat the Boyd Yellow Jackets boys team in a 85-38 game. Since the start of the new year, the Panthers have been on a winning streak, not losing a game since they played the Seminole Indians back in December, losing 48-46.
The Whitesboro Bearcats are coming in at 5-16 overall, and 2-2 in district play; ranking them 5th in their district. The Bearcats had a rough start to the season, but since district play has started they have made a comeback holding a 50/50 record.
This is also the first of two matchups these two teams will have against each other. There is no doubt whoever takes the loss tomorrow will look to be victorious in the rematch in February.
The game tomorrow is set to start at 7:30 p.m. in the Paradise High School main gym.
