Springtown Porcupines Sports Update – 10/10/25

Springtown – The No. 9 Springtown Porcupines continue their strong start with a District 5-4A matchup Friday night against Eastern Hills. The game is set for 7 p.m. at Handley Field in East Fort Worth.

The Porcupines are 6-0 overall and 2-0 in district play. The Highlanders enter at 3-3 and 1-1.

Springtown is coming off its second 55-0 win of the season after defeating Carter-Riverside. Junior quarterback Kaine Hill passed for 155 yards and three touchdowns and added a 48-yard rushing score. The Porcupines also rushed for more than 200 yards.

Springtown’s offense is balanced with more than 1,000 yards through the air and 1,100 on the ground. Head coach Brian Hulett said during the offseason that balance was a key strength.

The No. 10 Lady Porcupines volleyball team faces No. 5 Eagle Mountain on the road Friday in a major District 7-4A match. Springtown is 35-8 overall and 7-2 in district after a win over Krum on Tuesday.

The District 7-4A cross country meet took place Wednesday in Decatur.
