Pojo baseball is off to a strong start in 2026, holding a 9-3-1 record as it begins District 7-4A play. The Pines opened the district schedule with a dominant 13-1 home victory over Lake Worth High School baseball Tuesday and will travel to Lake Worth for the return game Friday. District action continues next week with Springtown taking on Burkburnett.

Lady Pines softball is 11-9 overall and 1-1 in District 7-4A. The team rebounded from a 3-0 loss to Burkburnett last Friday with a resounding 16-0 victory over Lake Worth on Tuesday. Their next district matchup is at Bridgeport Friday.

Springtown track teams hosted the Brad Legan and Family Invitational last Thursday, marking the fourth meet of the season. Sophomore Nallely Lopez captured both the 100- and 200-meter dashes for the girls, while sophomore Jett Hill won the 100-meter dash for the boys, showcasing strong performances early in the season.
