Aledo High School is a powerhouse in Texas. The school competes in UIL Class 5A and earned the prestigious 2025 UIL Class 5A Lone Star Cup, based on outstanding performance in athletics, fine arts, and academics. The Bearcats football program is especially dominant, winning 12 state championships between 1998 and 2023-the most in Texas high school football history-with multiple consecutive-title streaks.
