The Waxahachie High School cheer team will compete at the 2026 UIL Spirit State Championships in the 6A-DI Game Day division. The team is scheduled to perform on Panel C inside the hall at 10:47 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Fort Worth Convention Center. If Waxahachie advances past the preliminary round, the team will compete again in the finals, which begin at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, in the arena.
